Setting up your shop
From signing up to watching people clock in, in about ten minutes.
Name your shop
On the welcome screen, say you run the place and give your shop a name. We guess your timezone from your browser — check it, because everything hangs off it.
Set your shifts
Open Shifts and add Morning, Evening, or whatever you actually call them. Each one gets a start time, an end time, and a grace period before somebody counts as late.
Add your staff
Staff, then Add. Name, phone, start date, and a shift. Joining somebody to an account can wait — you can do it later from their profile.
Join someone up to their account
Open their profile, find the Link user card, and paste their staff code — they copy it from their own Profile screen. Once they're joined up they can sign in, see their own hours, ask for leave and check in. Undo it from the same card whenever you need to.
Put your QR code up
Your check-in code sits on the Today screen. Print it and pin it where your staff already walk past — one code for the whole shop.
Watch the day fill in
As people scan, Today updates: who's in, who came in late, who's on leave, who hasn't turned up.
Handle leave and mark your closed days
Requests land under Leave — approve or turn down each one. Add your closed days for the holidays so nobody gets marked absent on a day you were shut.
