Leave, near-the-shop check-in, managers, and BasilBook.

Open Shop settings → Plan
From Today, open Shop settings and hit Upgrade in the Plan card.
Pick monthly or yearly
$19.99 a month, or $199 a year — about 17% cheaper. The first 14 days are free either way.
Tie check-in to the shop
In Shop settings, turn on Shop WiFi only — there's a button that fills in the network you're on — or Near the shop only, which draws a circle around the place, 100 m across by default.
Turn on one phone per person
Everyone checks in and out on their own phone. It's what stops one person clocking in for the whole table — buddy punching, if you've heard it called that.
Try NFC check-in (optional)
Swap the scan for a one-second tap on an NFC sticker. Tags cost about a dollar and take half a minute to write with a free app.
Set up NFC check-in
Promote a manager
Open their profile and change their role to manager. Managers handle leave and see everybody's hours — two of them on Espresso.
Connect BasilBook
Shop settings → API keys → Make a key. Copy it — you only see it once — and paste it into BasilBook to send your hours through to the accounts.
